Forest Festival wrap up

Thanks to everyone who attended the Forest Festival! Despite the blustery conditions it was a fantastic day with over 500 trees planted and 300 sausages devoured. If you'd like to see photos and read more about the day, click on the link to the Forest Festival edition of Twahamwe on the right.
A special thank you also goes out to Quixotiq for the live soundtrack of the day, James' Connoiseur Meats at Kenmore for supplying the sausages, Brisbane City Council for letting us break in their brand new BBQ and the Kenmore branch of Kennards Hire for keeping us shaded from the beautiful spring sun.
Lastly, thank you to all the MOTT, Cubberla-Witton Catchment Network and Rainbow Forest Rehabilitation Group volunteers who provided the brains and braun behind the day. The happy faces on the young and young-at-heart said it all - well done!
